Questions

FAQ

What does a homeopathic consultation look like?

During the homeopathic consultation it is my job to listen carefully and fully understand all of your symptoms. I will ask question so I can comprehend how you are affected on all levels physically, mentally, and emotionally. We will discuss your current symptoms as well as your full health history.

What happens after the initial consultation?

After the initial 2-hour consultation, I will take time to completely analyze the specific way that your body expresses itself when it is out of balance and will carefully choose your chronic remedy. You will receive a remedy recommendation within a week, or 7 business days, of your consultation. This email will include instructions on how to take the remedy and a link for ordering from a homeopathic pharmacy.

How can I reach you in-between appointments?

You can reach me through email at jennacavehomeopathy@gmail.com, I usually respond within 24 business hours.

How often are follow ups booked?

Typically follow ups will be booked 4-6 weeks apart. Depending on where you are on your healing journey follow ups could be spaced out further.

Will I need to take remedies forever?

Not at all! Unlike vitamins and supplements your well-chosen remedy will bring your body back into balance which will permanently restore health.

How long will I be in treatment?

This is a hard question to answer as everyone is unique. You can estimate 1 month of treatment for every year you have suffered with your chronic issues.

Can I still take my prescription medication?

Yes! Homeopathy can work alongside allopathic medicine. The remedies will not interfere with your medications as they work on an energetic level where allopathic medication works on a biochemical level. Over time as your symptoms improve you may want to speak with your medical doctor about adjusting your medications. All decisions about medical prescriptions and treatment will be between you and your medical provider.

Do I need to give up coffee?

It is probably not necessary if you are already a coffee drinker. I would advise that you take your remedy at least 15 min after your last cup of coffee for the day or better yet take the remedy at night. If you are not a coffee drinker, it would be best to avoid starting while we are observing the action of the remedy. If you are an overly sensitive person, it is possible that coffee could antidote the remedy.

What is a homeopathic remedy?

A remedy is the “medicine” used in homeopathy and can be made from any substance found in nature such as a plant, animal, or mineral. There are more then 5,000 substances that have been made into remedies that homeopaths use.

How are homeopathic remedies made?

Remedies are made in homeopathic pharmacies following guidelines from the Homeopathic Pharmacopeia of the United States which is regulated by the FDA. Substances become remedies after going through a process called potentization. Potentization involves a series of dilutions and succussions which removes crude material and adds energy resulting in a final product that is a powerful and non-toxic.
